Boris Golosarsky, MD, FASAM
Medical Director | Liberty Health Services
Dr. Boris Golosarsky is a physician double board certified in Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM). He has served as Medical Director at Liberty Health Services since 2022, where he established the facility's medical detox protocols and provides ongoing clinical oversight of the detox and residential treatment programs.
Practicing medicine in New Hampshire since 1997, Dr. Golosarsky brings more than four decades of clinical experience to the supervision of medically monitored detox. He earned his medical degree from Odessa National Medical University in 1982 and is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. He holds New Hampshire medical license #10045 and is also licensed in Massachusetts.
Dr. Golosarsky's clinical focus centers on the safe medical management of alcohol and opioid withdrawal, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and the care of patients with co-occurring medical and substance use conditions. His dual training in addiction and internal medicine allows him to treat the whole person — addressing both the substance use disorder and the medical conditions that so often accompany it.
Beyond direct patient care, Dr. Golosarsky is a named inventor on multiple U.S. patents for medical diagnostic devices, including a neuropathy screening device. His work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has lectured to medical audiences across the United States, Canada, Japan, Finland, and Russia. A third-generation physician, he describes his approach to care simply: "You can't be happy without being healthy."
